Who it’s for

Do you want to understand the initial signs of domestic and family violence, and know how to respond appropriately and refer colleagues, friends and family members if necessary?

Lifeline offers variations of awareness sessions, aimed at laying the foundations for understanding and responding to domestic and family violence issues. DV-aware is a two-hour awareness session that raises public awareness around the issue.

What you’ll learn

You’ll walk away with a basic understanding of these issues, and tools that will guide you to recognise the signs of domestic and family violence, giving you the foundations to assess what you can do, as an individual or a group, to help prevent it.

Fees

Two-hour DV-aware sessions are free of charge to all eligible participants.
