Turn your effort into someone's lifeline. Run, ride, bake, shave your head, throw a trivia night. However you choose to fundraise, every dollar helps keep our crisis line answered.
Why fundraise for Lifeline Mid Coast?
We’re here so no-one on the Mid Coast has to face their toughest moments alone. Our crisis line runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and it’s community fundraising that keeps it that way.
It costs around $39 to answer one call. A morning tea, a workplace challenge, a birthday ask instead of gifts. It all adds up to real time on the phone for someone who needs it.
Ways to fundraise
You don’t need a big event to make a difference. Some ideas from our community:
- Take on a challenge: join an existing event like the Push-Up Challenge or a community cycle day, and fundraise as you go
- Mark an occasion: ask for donations instead of gifts for a birthday, wedding or anniversary
- Get your workplace involved: a morning tea, a dress-up day, or a team challenge like Stress Less Month
- Host an event: trivia night, sausage sizzle, walk or ride with mates
- Fundraise in memory of someone: a meaningful way to honour someone you’ve lost
