What is Bloom?
Bloom offers a safe space to connect with others who have similar lived experience.
Bloom isn’t therapy. It’s a space to be heard, understood and supported.
A group, not an appointment
This six-week program offers a safe space to connect with others who share similar experiences, explore helpful coping tools, and feel supported by trained facilitators and peer workers with lived experience.
What people say
Bloom helped me say ‘I deserve better’ and live as if I believe it

How to participate
Bloom participants meet for two hours each week across a six-week program.
Cycles run through the year. Call us to find out when the next one starts.
A closed group
Members begin and complete the journey together. That takes a little more planning to join, but it is what builds trust, consistency and meaningful connection between people, week on week.
What to expect
You’re welcome to:
- Share at your own pace, or simply listen
- Ask questions, join discussions, or just be present
- Connect with others who understand the challenges you face
Group guidelines
To keep Bloom safe and supportive for everyone, we ask participants to:
- Try your best to attend all sessions
- Arrive on time, or let your facilitator know if you’re running late
- Avoid alcohol or drug use before attending
- Keep phones on silent, and step out if you need to take a call
- Respect confidentiality: what’s shared in Bloom stays in Bloom
- Be mindful and respectful of each other’s feelings and privacy
- Avoid side conversations or talking over others
- Honour your own boundaries: only share what you feel comfortable sharing
- Avoid forming romantic relationships with other group participants
